Recently stumbled upon this classic piece of Lowell history; the December 28, 1987 nightly ๐ณ๐๐๐๐ ๐ช๐๐๐๐ ๐ต๐๐๐ broadcast from Lowell Telecommunications.
So many historic names and events in our city, in just one half-hour news show. There’s even a story regarding a major fire in Chelmsford.
The Year-in-Review segment alone is gold. As an added bonus, it is anchored by a now very familiar face on Boston television, Steve Cooper.

Lots of talent went through that studio. Latoya Edwards, Dave Sakowich, and even Maria Stephanos was on there a couple times.
