LOWELL – The Greater Merrimack Valley Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMVCVB) is pleased to announce Brian Bradbury as its new Executive Director.
With deep roots in the region and extensive experience in the travel and tourism industry, Bradbury is set to lead the GMVCVB with a vision to enhance and promote the rich cultural heritage and scenic beauty of the Greater Merrimack Valley.
Bradbury’s connection to the Greater Merrimack Valley spans five generations.
“I am extremely excited about this opportunity,” said Bradbury. “I have a special love for the Greater Merrimack Valley. I was raised here. My wife was raised here. My kids were raised here. Now my grandson is being raised here. I have 5 generations of family who made the Merrimack Valley their home, after my great-great-grandfather came from Ireland to Lowell in 1885.”
With 17 years of experience in the travel and tourism industry, Bradbury brings a wealth of expertise to his new role. For the past 12 years, he has excelled as the Northeast Director for CTM Media Group, a tourism marketing company, where he ensured the growth of customers’businesses through tourism. His passion for the Greater Merrimack Valley and commitment to showcasing its unique history and beauty will drive his efforts at the Greater Merrimack Valley Convention & Visitors Bureau.
