DRACUT — Chief Michael Cunha is pleased to share that Santa visited Dracut Fire this holiday season, in collaboration with Dracut Firefighters Union, Local 2586.

Santa made a special appearance at Dracut Fire station on Dec. 14, trading in his sleigh to ride in an Antique 1948 Diamond T driven by Firefighter Derek Santos. The event was sponsored by the Dracut Firefighters Union, Local 2586.

During the event residents and community members had the opportunity to meet and interact with Santa and drop off toys for families in need.

Collected toys were donated to Toys for Local Children, a charity that aims to provide gifts and support to local families during the holiday season.

Dracut Fire would like to thank Lt. Joel Howard, who was the Chairman of the event, and the community for participating and donating to give back to those in need this holiday season.
