Jomarie Buckley has been an attorney for 20 years, working mostly in Child Welfare (she has worked for the state for the last 9).

In her spare time, she does real estate work and is studying to be a certified financial planner.

Joemarie lives in Tewksbury with her husband, JW,  and their three dogs and three cats after raising her four children in Wilmington. She was born in Lawrence and grew up in Burlington.

While in Wilmington, she served on the Select Board, Wilmington Housing Authority, as past President of the Wilmington Educational Foundation and founder and past president of We’re One Wilmington.

Now in Tewksbury, Jomarie serves on the Finance Committee, Board of Trustees for the Tewksbury State Hospital, Board of the Community Group and founding member and President of Tewksbury Together.

She joined InsideLowell after a stint co-hosting the morning show at WCAP, where she realized that even if her kids don’t listen to her, maybe other people would find what she had to say interesting.
