Multiple baseball sources report that Rafael Devers, who crushed a solo home run in the Mill City during an injury rehab game with the Lowell Spinners in August of 2018, is signing a contract extension with the Boston Red Sox.
That appearance for the Spinners was honored with a bobblehead doll in 2020.
Devers, who in 2019 became the youngest player in the Sox rich history to collect 200-hits in a season, is reportedly signing an 11-year, $330-million contract.
The contract would be the sixth-largest deal in total value in Major League Baseball history.
