Finn Makes It Four for Belvidere

The race for District 3 (Belvidere) City Councilor is starting to get more crowded than the Market Basket bread and milk aisles before a snowstorm.

This morning Erin Gendron made her long-rumored campaign official, joining Belinda Juran, who launched her campaign in January and incumbent Corey Belanger in the race for the high-profile seat.

This evening, Belvidere resident Dan Finn confirmed his intention to run with InsideLowell, after updating the Dan Finn for City Council page he used during his 2017 run for council.

“As a lifelong Lowell resident who has lived in Belvidere for 20-years, I feel the time is right for me to step up and represent my district and the people who call it home,” Finn tells us. “I look forward to speaking with the residents about the issues important to them.”

Finn has worked for the Middlesex Sheriff’s Office for 28-years, starting as a Correction Officer before ascending to his current role as Assistant Deputy Superintendent, overseeing the policy and compliance department.

Finn and his wife have four children who have all attended Lowell Public Schools, with two of them still in the system. He currently serves as President of Friends of Lowell High School and sits on the Lowell High Hall of Fame Board.
