Lowell – Representative Tara T. Hong (D–18th Middlesex) recently announced his appointment to several key committees in the Massachusetts House of Representatives, including the Joint Committee on Community Development and Small Businesses, the Joint Committee on Election Laws, the Joint Committee on Environment and Natural Resources, and the Joint Committee on Higher Education.

“I am excited to begin working on these important committees and deeply grateful to the Speaker for giving me this opportunity,” said Representative Hong. “From supporting local entrepreneurs and strengthening our elections, to protecting our environment and expanding access to higher education, these committees play an important role in shaping a brighter future for the Commonwealth.
