George Dristiliaris, who played his high school football for Lowell High, will continue his college career with Butler University after spending two years at Valparaiso.

Dristiliaris entered the “Transfer Portal” in November, giving him the opportunity to transfer without losing any eligibility. After considering playing closer to his Mill City home, he decided on staying in Indiana.

The 6-foot-3, 245-pound Defensive Lineman recorded 9-tackles, including 2 for loss and a sack during a 2022 season that saw him play 11-games for the Beacons. He made his debut during the 2021 season, ironically against the same Butler Bulldogs team he’ll be joining.

Dristiliaris was a co-captain on the 2021 Lowell High team and graduated as a high honors student with a 4.0 GPA.
