Lowell Public Schools Holds Community Forum

LOWELL – Lowell Public Schools has contracted with consulting firm Public Works, LLC to conduct an organizational review aimed at making LPS more efficient and effective for all of our stakeholders.

This work requires feedback and input from LPS families and community partners on both what is working well in Central Office and in our schools, and in areas that need improvement. We want your thoughts on subjects including:

  • Curriculum and Instruction
  • Before/After School and Summer Programs
  • Student Testing and Assessment
  • Mental Health /Behavior and Nursing Services
  • Technology
  • Special Education
  • Family Resource Center
  • Communication
  • Adult Education
  • Multi-lingual Learners
  • Early Childhood Education
  • And MORE

Please join us on Tuesday December 12 from 5:30 p.m. – 7 p.m. at the Butler Middle School, 1140 Gorham Street for a Community Forum/Input session. You are welcomed to, but do not need to stay for the full session. Any time you can spare to provide your input is appreciated.

Translation will be available in Spanish, Portuguese, and Khmer.
