PRIDE Returns to Kerouac Park

Greater Lowell PRIDE will return to Kerouac Park on Saturday, June 3, 2023.

The festivities will begin at City Hall, 375 Merrimack Street, at 10:00AM with a flag raising ceremony. The ceremony will include remarks from members and leaders of the Lowell Queer community, as well as a performance from the New England Pride Colorguard.

“Acknowledgement and visibility matter,” says City Manager Thomas A. Golden, Jr. “Lowell is known for its open and welcoming spirit. The Mayor and City Council continue to work with our partners to provide every opportunity to recognize, celebrate, and connect with our LGBTQI+ neighbors. PRIDE reflects the values of equality and acceptance that are cornerstones of our city.”

Once the flag is raised, the parade begins. The New England Pride Colorguard and The Party Band will leave from City Hall and bring revelers along to Kerouac Park, 75 Bridge Street, for an afternoon of family-friendly fun and entertainment featuring Bubbles McGee, Mizery’s Divas of Mischief, and Lowell native Moises B. From 12:00PM to 4:00PM, all are welcome to enjoy food trucks and a youth area sponsored by The Center for Hope and Healing. Local vendors will also be present to offer information and resources.
