Please be advised of upcoming dates and effects on traffic with the Thorndike Street Project beginning Wednesday, June 14.

Road milling (grinding) is scheduled to start tomorrow, Wednesday, June 14, and is anticipated to last several days. This will be a daytime operation with traffic impacts anticipated. See below for specific streets, and please refer to the attached map for details:

Wed., June 14 (highlighted red): Fletcher Street, Summer Street, Appleton Street, Chelmsford Street

Thurs., June 15 (highlighted yellow): Dutton/Thorndike Street (Northern Limits)

Fri., June 16 (highlighted green): Thorndike Street (Southern Limits)

Fri., June 16 (highlighted blue): *Middlesex Street (West) – if time permits

Additionally, please note that road paving (weather permitting) is scheduled to begin June 26 as a nighttime operation. This event is anticipated to take 5 days to complete.
