4th of July Celebration Returns to LeLacheur Park

Lowell — The City of Lowell is thrilled to announce the return of our beloved Fourth of July Celebration at LeLacheur Park. Join us on July 4, 2024, for an evening filled with live music, festive activities, and a spectacular fireworks display.

The celebration will kick off with a lineup of local musicians, including reggae band Dis n Dat, DJ BCreativ, and Lowell favorite Squires of Soul. Kids and families can enjoy fun activities, including face painting and performances from Cirque de Light.

The night will culminate in a breathtaking fireworks show that will light up the sky over LeLacheur Park, creating a memorable finale to our Independence Day festivities.

Please Note: Capacity for this event is limited to 750 attendees to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all. Ticketing information will be available prior to the event.

Event Details:

  • Date: July 4, 2024 (Rain date: July 5, 2024)
  • Time: Doors open at 6:00PM, Entertainment begins at 6:30PM, Fireworks display begins at 9:00PM
  • Location: LeLacheur Park, 450 Aiken St, Lowell, MA
    • Free parking available at the George Ayotte Parking Facility, 11 Post Office Square
    • Parking for a $10 fee available at the East Campus parking garage located next to the ballpark and the Perkins Lot located across the street
  • Admission: Free, advance registration recommended

    Only 750 people can attend. Wow limited the people already. I will watch it from my apartment. I will know I will be safer at my place then in public.
