Lowell – Lowell Irish Festival returns to Lowell Memorial Auditorium on Saturday, September 14. And thanks to Guinness’ commitment, this year’s event will be free to attend!
Lowell Irish Festival presented by Guinness features a family- friendly and fun-filled day of live Irish music from national, regional, and local acts, Irish-inspired culinary and beverage offerings, artisan vendors, family activities, Irish step dancing, and more.
Among this year’s musical acts are:
Ian Millar of The Irish Rovers
Shelgah O’Brien
My Druthers
Irish Whispa
Derrick Keane
Boxty
Alongside the musical acts, the 2024 Lowell Irish Festival will also include events all attendees can be a part of, such as Air Brush Boston and Personalized Pint, where you can get your photographs printed on a pint of Guinness.
This year’s festival will also hold the second annual Guinness Perfect Pour Competition on the Main Stage from 2pm to 3pm.
The Perfect Pour Competition consists of local bartenders competing against each other to see who pours the perfect pint of Guinness. Eileen McMahon Woods of Bunratty Tavern, and Roseann Williams of Elm Square Oyster Co. are among the contestants who will be competing for the trophy.
