Lowell High School boys basketball is headed to the biggest stage in New England — TD Garden — and the program is making sure the entire Lowell community can be part of the excitement.
On Sunday, January 18 at 8:30 pm, Lowell High will take on Beverly in the AJL ’26 Tournament, capping off a full day of games at TD Garden. But this matchup is about more than basketball — it’s about inspiring the next generation of players and celebrating Lowell pride.
To help drive ticket sales and give back to local youth, the LHS boys basketball program is offering fans a chance to win an exclusive VIP experience just by purchasing a ticket.
Buy a Ticket, Win a VIP Experience
Fans who purchase tickets by Thursday, January 15 at 5:00 pm will be entered into a raffle to win a one-of-a-kind VIP package for a Lowell youth basketball player.
The VIP experience includes:
-
A youth player of your choice sitting on the bench during an LHS boys basketball game
-
The youth player’s travel or recreational team practices with the Lowell High boys basketball team

It’s a rare opportunity for young athletes to see firsthand what it’s like to be part of a high school varsity program — and to learn directly from players who once wore the same youth jerseys.
Each ticket purchase counts as one raffle entry. To enter, ticket buyers must forward their ticket confirmation to Coach Bob Michalczuk at bobbymczyk@yahoo.com by January 18.
Special Halftime Opportunity for Lowell Youth Players
The excitement doesn’t stop there. All Lowell travel basketball players will have the chance to shoot on the TD Garden court at halftime, making this a once-in-a-lifetime memory for dozens of young athletes.
