Dane Burke, wanted for murder in Skowhegan, Maine, was arrested this morning after a lengthy police chase that featured some harrowing moments in the Mill City.
Video obtained by InsideLowell and posted below shows the alleged suspect racing on the wrong side of Pawtucket Boulevard in Lowell, with police cruisers hot in pursuit.
The footage, captured on dashcam by local businessman Michael Cawley of Lowell Lock and Key, shows Burke’s vehicle racing past Cawley near the Macom facility and approaching the very busy intersections of Pawtucket Boulevard at Old Ferry Road and the Rourke Bridge.
The second snippet shows the suspect’s vehicle racing past the lights at Old Ferry Rd and the bridge.
The chase ended with Burke crashing his vehicle and being apprehended in Dunbarton, New Hampshire.
