LOWELL – Jean M. (Boucher) Poitras, age 64, died on Sunday, February 8, 2026 at Lowell General Hospital, after a period of declining health. She was the beloved wife of John P. Poitras.

Born in Lowell on January 11, 1962, she was the daughter of the late Albert Boucher and Mildred (Martin) Boucher. She was a long time “Lowellian” and attended local schools.

Jean will be remembered by her loved ones for her sense of humor, her storytelling and her love of music, especially her favorites, Pink Floyd and Ozzy Osbourne. She spent countless hours taking care of others; children and elders alike. Always the life of the party, Jean will be dearly missed.

In addition to her husband, John, Jean is survived by her daughter, Katie Tully and her husband, Ryan, along with her cherished granddaughter, Stella Jeanne Tully.
