Lowell’s 12U baseball team is on another historic run.
After capturing its 3rd Cal Ripken League State Championship two weeks ago, they have now advanced to the Regional Championship Game tonight at 5:30 in Dover, NH. A win would make this the first team in Lowell history to advance to the National Championship.
If you want to see what excellence in Lowell looks like, take the drive up to Dover to cheer our boys on.
Here is a quick recap of last night’s semi final game:
Lowell 12U won big over Noble Maine 12u All stars on Thursday at Beckwith Park. Final score was 8-2 in favor of the home team.
Lowell got on the board in the first inning after a passed ball scored one run, then added a run in the second after Cooper Parent singled down the left field line on the sixth pitch of the at-bat.
Noble 12u All stars tied the game at two in the top of the third, but our boys took the lead right back in the bottom of the third.
After the umpires incorrectly granted time out during a live ball situation, costing Lowell a run, the boys didn’t let it stop them. Harry Zahareas doubled down the right field line scoring two runs, giving Lowell 12U the upper hand, 4-2.
Lowell’s finest added four more runs in the bottom of the fifth inning on three hits.

Zahir Rodriguez hit a towering solo home run to left field. Harry Zahareas then drew a walk, scoring a run. Tommy Florence singled, scoring another run, and Sean Drinkwater doubled, driving in the final run of the game.
Ryder Swett was fantastic on the mound, earning the win.
The starter surrendered just four hits and two runs over four and a third innings, striking out four and walking two.
Zahir Rodriguez came on in relief during a key moment in the top of the 5th, with two on and 1 out and the game still in the balance at 4-2. Zahir struck out the 3rd and 4th hitters in the Noble lineup to preserve the lead. He would finish the game and collect the save.
Sean, Tommy, Harry, Zahir, Junior Ventura and Cooper collected one hit apiece for the home team.
Harry led Lowell 12U with two runs batted in. The left fielder went 1-for-2 on the day.
Jacob Marion paced Lowell 12U with three walks. Overall, the team exhibited tremendous patience at the plate, accumulating seven walks in the contest.
Jacob and Zahir each stole multiple bases for Lowell, as the team ran ran wild on the base paths, collecting 10 stolen bases for the game.
James Kane had a big defensive play to thwart at late inning charge from Noble, while Lucas Ros contributed with a walk and Rayden Reyes scored a run.

It’s truly difficult to put in words the sense of Lowell Pride that permeated throughout Beckwith Park , Dover NH last night. A group of young 12 year old baseball players and coaching staff truly won the hearts of all Lowell fans who attended Lowell’s semifinal win against a strong willed team from Nobles Vermont. Nobles entered the contest sporting a 19-1 record. The Lowell baseball players faced adversity head on in a highly emotional game. The growing number of Lowell fans in attendance were electric . Lowell coaches, players, families and friends were united in one Lowell. Lowell Pride displayed at its finest . Please join us tonight at 5:30 in Dover and be a part of what we hope for the kids will be a trip to participate in the 2026 Cal Ripken Little League World Series in Branson Missouri.
