LOWELL — The Lowell Schools Fund, an initiative of Project LEARN, is excited to announce the launch of its Educator Mini Grant Program, designed to support innovative projects and learning experiences for students across Lowell Public Schools (LPS) during the 2026–2027 school year.
Beginning August 31, 2026, eligible LPS educators and school staff can apply for grants ranging from $250 to $1,000 to support projects that build on classroom learning, foster creativity, and provide students with meaningful skill-building opportunities.
The program is intended to give educators the resources and flexibility to bring new ideas to life in their classrooms and school communities. Funding may support a wide range of projects and initiatives that enhance students’ educational experiences and create opportunities for hands-on learning.

Applications open August 31, 2026, and are due October 2, 2026 at 7:00PM. Educators interested in learning more can visit the Lowell Schools Fund website for application information and program details.
An informational webinar will also be held on September 16, 2026, at 4:00 PM for educators and staff interested in learning more about the grant program and application process.
The Lowell Schools Fund was established to provide flexible resources that strengthen educational experiences for Lowell students. Through initiatives such as the Educator Mini Grant Program, the fund seeks to support educators in creating engaging, creative, and student-centered learning opportunities across the district.
