TYNGSBOROUGH – Peter F. Doyle, 67, a resident of Tyngsborough, died peacefully at home surrounded by his family, Thursday, January 19, 2023. He was the beloved husband of Louise T. “Lulu” (Cote) Doyle with whom he shared 44 years of marriage.
He was born in Lowell on November 1, 1955 and was a son of the late Jean (Hansen) and Robert Doyle. Peter was a third generation President of Lowell Provision Company in Lowell, where he worked for over 35 years.
He formerly served on the Board of Directors at Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union and the Lowell Day Nursery.
Peter spent many years near the water, whether it was creating his dream home, sitting out on the deck overlooking the lake watching the sunsets, out on the lawn taking in the view or out on the boat water skiing. He loved it all, especially when it involved time spent with his wife, kids, grandkids and friends.
He also enjoyed downhill skiing, car shows, golfing, racquetball and attending Lowell Spinners Games.
In addition to his wife Louise, Peter is survived by and will be deeply missed by his three children, Cassandra Cunha and her husband Josh of NH, Gregory Doyle and his wife Jillian of Groton and Thomas Doyle and his wife Meagan of Groton; his six grandchildren, Natalie, Jayden, Robert, Zoey, Mae and Quinn; his eight siblings, Dennis Doyle of Litchfield, NH, Robert Doyle and his wife Patricia of FL, Ann Bedell and her husband Joel of Merrimack, NH, Nancy Roy of Shrewsbury, John Doyle and his wife Patricia of Lowell, Catherine Elie and her husband Raymond of Dracut, Barbara Johnson and her husband Peter of Stow and Philip Doyle of Nashua, NH; as well as many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to Peter’s Life Celebration on Monday, January 23, 2023 from 4 until 7 PM at the McKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, Lowell. His funeral service will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 AM at the First Baptist Church of Nashua, 121 Manchester Street, Nashua. Burial will be held privately.
