LOWELL – Florence I. (Lamphier) Dube, age 91, a longtime resident of Lowell died Friday, February 10, 2023. She was the beloved wife of the late Gerard A. Dube with whom she was married for 69 years.
“Flo” was born in Chelmsford on September 1, 1931, and was the daughter of the late Clarence E. and Irene B. (Allen) Lamphier. She was employed by Western Electric for many years. Flo was a longtime parishioner of St. Michaels Church in Lowell.
Flo was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to all she met. In her free time, she was an avid bingo player and enjoyed roller skating with Gerry well into their late 80’s. When not roller skating, Flo enjoyed knitting, crocheting, crafts, and spending time at the beach where she always enjoyed a good lobster roll.
She is survived by her daughters, Ann Marie Dube of Haverhill, Theresa Dauteuil and her husband Rod of Salem NH, Karen Gurlewski and her husband Stanley of Lowell; two grandchildren, Michael Dube of Sandown NH, Angela Lacoste and her husband Wayne of Swanzey, NH; 9 great grandchildren; brothers Clarence Lamphier and his wife Carol of Deltona, FL and John Lamphier of Littleton; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her son Richard Dube, granddaughter Pepita Dube, and sister to Edward Lamphier, Richard Lamphier, Gerald Lamphier, Wayne Lamphier, Fay Baillargeon, Ruth Carroll, Joan Gray and Nancy Netzer.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Flo’s Funeral Service to be held on Friday, February 17th at 11:30 am at the St. Joseph Cemetery Chapel, 96 Riverneck Rd., Chelmsford.
