At approximately 8:39 p.m. last night, the Pelham Police and Pelham Fire Department were dispatched to the area of 290 Mammoth Road for a report of a motor vehicle accident.
Upon arrival, officers located a 2021 Mazda CX-30 with heavy front-end damage that had collided with and severed a utility pole. The operator of the vehicle was identified as Eileen Delrossi, age 45, of Lowell, MA.
Delrossi is a member of the Lowell School Committee, representing District 2, which is comprised of both the District 2 (Centralville) and District 4 (Downtown) City Council districts. She has represented the district since January of 2022, winning election the previous November, the first election held under the city’s new hybrid representation system.
The press release issued by Pelham PD goes on to state that “at the conclusion of the investigation, it was determined that Ms. Delrossi was driving southbound on Mammoth Road and failed to negotiate the curve by the area of 290 Mammoth Road and exited the southbound lane and into the utility pole. Mammoth Road between Greeley Road and Old County Road was closed for an extended period of time so that crews could repair the broken pole.

She will be arraigned at the Salem District Court on September 15th, 2025, at 8:00 a.m.”
