Avery Gudewich kicked off the season strong, finding the back of the net twice, while Eva Mojica stood out with her defensive skills and transition play on a chilly morning. In goal, Lyla Curran-Benson, Vivian Gilmore, and Riley Brady held their ground, making key stops throughout the game. Newcomers Evelyn McManus and Riley Brady also delivered strong performances, contributing on both ends of the field. It was a great team effort against a strong Winchester team, setting the tone for an exciting season ahead!

Grade 3/4 White:
The 3/4 White Team started the season with a true team effort from all girls contributing in some capacity vs Winchester.
Lowell 3/4 took an early lead, scoring in the first minute of play and never looking back for the rest of the game. Eleven out of the fourteen girls scored a goal on Sunday while fighting the weather elements for a large victory over Winchester. The defensive pressure applied on each possession proved to overwhelm the opponents for the better part of both halves.
First time players received meaningful action while learning the nuances of the game in week 1. All the girls showed great sportsmanship and supported each other throughout the game. The players were prepared and all the practices/skill work leading up to the game paid off.
We are excited about the upcoming season! Next Game: Sunday (4/06) at Reading (1:15PM)
