Elenore Casey Crane, more commonly known around the Mill City as Casey Crane, has announced her candidacy for United States Congress in New Hampshire’s 2nd Congressional District.
The Nashua resident, a co-host of WCAP’s morning talk show since August of 2021 after also co-hosting the show for seven years beginning in 1995, formally announced her run on Facebook Wednesday. She will hold a press conference at 1pm today at the NH Secretary of State’s Office.
Crane is running in a crowded Republican field in the District currently represented by Democrat Annie Kuster, who announced in late March that she will not seek re-election, touching off a scramble in both parties on what will be a closely watched race with control of Congress on the line this November.
Crane’s announcement touts her long-term New Hampshire residency and steadfast support of former President Donald Trump since 2016 as central differences between herself and what she terms her “main opponents.”
Crane is expected to leave her post at WCAP at some point in the coming weeks.

Should be an interesting press conference. Will she actually let the reporters ask questions at the press conference or will she talk over them like she does everyone on the WCAP show?
I just hope there’s enough chairs for the press
Not a nice comment Bach. Grow up.
I’m sorry. You’re right. I hope there’s enough chairs at the pseudo press table
