DRACUT – Cecile E. “Jo” (Maille) Crawford, 93, of Dracut, died Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at Lowell General Hospital, following a period of declining health. She was the beloved wife of the late Gerald E. “Butch” Crawford, until his passing in 2011.

Born in Lowell on October 25, 1932, she was a daughter of the late George and Roseanna (Mainville) Maille.

Jo was employed as a stock keeper for Honeywell of Lawrence for many years.

Jo is survived by and will be deeply missed by her grandson, Gary E. Maille, Jr. and his wife, Kitara, of Dracut; her great-grandchildren, Sydney and Dean; her sister, Georgette Cutress of Salem, NH; her brother, Raymond Maille and his wife, Liz of New York; as well as many other extended family and friends.

She was the mother of the late Gary E. Maille, Sr. and sister of the late Joseph “Leo” Maille, Ernest Maille and Jeannine Crandall.

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to all of the doctors, nurses, and staff at Lowell General for the exceptional care, kindness, and support shown to Cecile during her stay.

Relatives and friends are invited to Jo’s Life Celebration at the McKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, Lowell on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 from 9 until 10:30 AM. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated immediately following at 11 AM in Ste. Marguerite d’Youville Church, Dracut. Burial will be held in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford.
