Dolores M. “Dolly” (Laferriere) Fisette

DRACUT – Dolores M. “Dolly” (Laferriere) Fisette, age 84, a longtime resident of Dracut and recently for the last ten years of Lowell, died Monday, March 9, 2026 surrounded by her loving family at home. She was the beloved wife of the late Roger G. Fisette, with whom she had shared 65 years of marriage with until his passing in 2023.

She was born on February 21, 1942 and was a daughter of the late Henry and Florence (Laferriere) Laferriere. Prior to her retirement, Dolly was employed as a sales associate for Walmart. In her younger years, she worked as a hairstylist and was a graduate of the Lowell Academy Hair Styling Institute.

She was a longtime parishioner of Ste. Marguerite d’Youville Church in Dracut.

Dolly was an avid lover of bingo and watching her game shows. She often passed her time  with building puzzles and sewing. She also enjoyed spending time with her late Shetland Collies, Colby and Smokey and her most recent companion, Pickles.

Dolly is survived by her two daughters. Debra Ozella and her husband, Bruce of Lowell and Denise DeSimone and her husband, Robert of FL; her eight grandchildren, Nicole Florez and her husband, Alejandro, Roger Turcotte and his wife, Ashley, Abigail Kristiansen and her husband, Erik, Cassandra Furey and her husband, Anthony, Robert Kukulski and his fiance, Amanda Torres, Alec DeSimone and Nicholas DeSimone; her twelve great-grandchildren; her sister, Theresa LeVasseur; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she is predeceased by her granddaughter, Ashley Sargent and her sister, Claire Bellerose.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Dolly’s Life Celebration at the McKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, Lowell on Saturday, March 14, 2026 from 10 until 11:45 AM. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:30 PM at Ste. Marguerite d’Youville Church in Dracut. Burial to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford.
