DRACUT – Gloria D. (Marchand) Laferriere, age 79, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 8, 2026. She was the beloved wife of James A. Laferriere, with whom she had been married to for 59 years and would of been celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary in May of this year.

Born in Lowell on November 2, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Roland and Bernadette (Laferriere) Marchand.

Gloria was an avid Patriots fan and also loved to go to bingo, crochet and cook. More importantly, she loved her entire family immensely, especially her other siblings, Richard, Joanne, Sue and Joyce and their families.

In addition to her husband James and her siblings, she is survived by her three sons, James R. Laferriere of Dracut, Robert J. Laferriere of Menomonee Falls, WI and John R. Laferriere and his wife, Donna of Hudson, NH; her daughter, Jackie P. Laferriere of Dracut; her ten grandchildren; her six great-grandchildren; her one great-great-grandchild; as well as many other extended family and friends.

She was the sister of the late, Roland Marchand, Jr.
