Lowell – Henry R. Brassard, beloved husband of Michelle T. (Boisvert) Brassard passed away at his Lowell residence surrounded by his family on Monday, March 17, 2025. He was 80.
Born in Lowell on July 13, 1944, he was a son of the late Henry J. and Madeline (Boyce) Brassard. Henry grew up in Tyngsboro and later moved to Lowell.
Prior to his retirement he worked as a fork lift operator. He worked at Joan Fabrics and BASF and following retirement worked for the Lowell School Department.
Hank enjoyed woodworking and working with leather. He made furniture, belts and purses for family and friends. He loved country music and he and Michelle went line dancing for many years. They also worked part time as DJ’s at local establishments and private functions where they also performed karaoke.
Hank was described as a jack of all trades always available when someone needed help or something needed fixing. He always looked forward to conversations with his neighbors.
Surviving him besides his wife Michelle are a daughter and son in law, Cristi and Daniel Legare of Lowell; four grandchildren, Darian Pantalone, Daniel Legare, Jr., John Roberts, Tyler Roberts; three great grandchildren, Daniel Legare III, Amelia Legare, Benjamin Pantalone, Jackson Mercier; and several nieces and nephews including his niece Suzie who’s visits meant the world to Hank. He was the father of the late Daniel Roberts, and brother of the late William Brassard, and Shirley Phillips.
Relatives and friends are invited to Henry’s Life Celebration in the McKenna-Ouellette Funeral Home, 327 Hildreth Street from 4 until 6 PM on Saturday, March 28, 2025.
