Patricia R. (Briere) Millette, beloved wife of Ernest H. Millette passed away at her Dracut residence on Thursday, December 19, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She was 77.

Born in Lowell on April 23, 1947 a daughter of the late Leo and Simone (Hebert) Briere. 

Patricia grew up in Lowell, where she met Ernest at a Christmas party and together they celebrated 58 years of marriage.

Patricia and Ernest loved spending the past 25 years at Wild Acres Campground in Old Orchard Beach, ME, where they considered everyone their second family. Patricia enjoyed watching game shows, soap operas and visiting the casinos. She loved her grandchildren more than life, and wouldn’t miss any of their sports or other activities. Patricia looked forward to her tradition of making gingerbread houses every year with her grandchildren.

Surviving Patricia besides her husband Ernest are her adored children, Kimberly Millette and her partner Paul Hebard, Karen McGrade, Michael Millette and his fiancé Christine Terroux; her beloved grandchildren, Kaylin LaPointe, Riley Millette, Kristen LaPointe, Colin McGrade, Zoe Millette, Evan McGrade; her brothers and sisters in law, Donald and Georgette Briere, Richard and Jeannine Briere, Wayne and Audry Briere, Marc and Elaine Briere; and many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Leo Briere.

Patricia’s family would like to thank the wonderful doctors and nurses at the Lowell General Cancer Center for their care and compassion during her illness.

Relatives and friends are invited to Patricia’s Life Celebration at the McKenna-Ouellette Funeral Home, 327 Hildreth Street from 3 until 7 PM on Monday, December 30, 2024. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 AM on December 31, 2024, in St. Francis Church, 115 Wheeler Rd. Dracut. Burial will be private. Donations in Patricia’s memory may be made to the Cancer Center at Lowell General Hospital, 295 Varnum Ave Lowell, MA 01854
