Loving Mother, Daughter, Sister, Aunt & Friend
LOWELL – Virginia A. “Ginny” Perry, a life long resident of the Centralville section of Lowell, passed away on Friday, March 14th at High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill, MA, after a 6 month battle with cancer. She was 46.
Born in Lowell on May 27, 1978, she was the daughter of Suzanne T. Beaupre of Lowell and Carroll W. Perry, Jr. of Buffalo, TX. She attended the City Magnet School and Lowell High School.
Ginny had a variety of jobs throughout her life but the one that she loved the most, her most recent one, was being a bus driver for special needs children with N.R.T. Transportation. Ginny started out as a bus monitor and shortly thereafter, just prior to her cancer diagnosis, she received her 7D driver’s license so that she could drive the bus. Oh…how she loved those kids.
As a child, Ginny played softball with the Centralville Girl’s Softball League. She was a catcher. For many years summers were spent at the Club Fleur de Lis for swimming and barbeque’s. As a teen, and even now, she enjoyed riding around Lowell or to Hampton Beach with her friends and the radio blasting. She loved doing little craft projects with Bella, word find puzzles and diamond art and she enjoyed watching Law & Order SVU. Ginny was a collector. She had many stuffed animals, particularly monkeys. She also collected Nike sneakers and minky blankets. She loved tattoos and had many. Ginny always had a Pepsi in her hand.
Ginny was very passionate about her family & friends. Her love for them had no bounds. She lived a full life with a kind heart and desire to help anyone in need. She was always there if someone needed a ride.
In addition to her parents, she leaves her two loving children, Kyle David and Bella Rose Perry; a brother, Joel D. Perry; a sister, Lauren A. Perry; two nieces and a nephew, Marina, Reyna and Niko Perry, her stepmother, Shirley Perry, aunts and uncles Judy and Bob Conway and Dianne and Tim Valley, cousins and many friends. She also leaves her very best friend, Lisa M. Boisvert, who has very generously taken over as Bella’s legal guardian.
A big thank you to the nurses, doctors and staff at High Point Hospice house for taking excellent care of Ginny for the 11 days that she was there. Huge thanks also go to all of Ginny’s BFFs (to many to list) for standing by her during her most difficult time.
At Ginny’s request, please dress down (jeans, sweatpants, sneakers, slides) when coming to the service. That’s how she always dressed.
Relatives and friends are invited to Ginny’s Memorial Visitation on Sunday, March 23rd from 1 until 4 PM at the McKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, Lowell. Prayer Services will immediately follow at 4 PM. For condolences, please visit www.mckennaouellette.com.
