DRACUT – Wanda L. Cooper, 70, passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2023, with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late John P. Cooper.
Born in Lowell on August 18, 1952, she was a daughter of the late Shirley (Martin) Pilato and Frederick Pilato of Lowell who survives her.
Until recently moving to Dracut with her son John, Wanda had resided in Tucson, AZ for over 30 years. In Arizona she had been employed by the Drader Manufacturing Plastic Welding Company as a supervisor until her retirement.
Wanda enjoyed listening to music and outdoor activities such as camping and hiking.
In addition to her father, she leaves two sons, John P. Cooper, Jr. and his wife Dawn (Close) of Dracut and Mark W. Cooper of Cambridge; five grandchildren, Alisha, Mark, Justin, Corey and Tara Cooper; her siblings, Shirlene Kaulbach, Glenn Hall and his wife Lisa, Wayne Pilato, Carol Milerbi and her husband Jim and Robin Pilato; a sister-in-law, Frances Hall; also several nieces and nephews including Lisa Santiago with whom she had a special bond; also her cousin, Sandy Hood who was like a sister to her. She was a sister of the late Gary Hall.
Relatives and friends are invited to Wanda’s Life Celebration on Wednesday, Feb. 8, from 9 until 11 AM at the McKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street. Her Funeral Services will continue at 11 AM in the Funeral Home followed by burial in St. Patrick Cemetery.
