Morgan and Molly Smith shot 6-under par (66) yesterday in the opening round of the United States Golf Association’s Women’s Amateur Four-Ball Tournament. That score was good enough to place them in a tie for 4th place as they head into second round play today at The Home Course in DuPont, Washington.
The sisters are back out on the course, vying to qualify for Monday’s Round of 32 Match play. Should they get there and win their match, they’d next tee off Tuesday in the Round of 16 Quarterfinal matches. The semi-finals and finals are both schedule for Wednesday.

Even prior to their strong start on the course, Morgan and Molly earned national attention in a Golf Channel television interview and Golf Week article.
