The City of Lowell is excited to announce the return of WinterFest on Friday, February 16, and Saturday, February 17, 2024, to Downtown Lowell. This beloved annual event will feature an array of exciting activities and attraction for all ages, including live music, performances, art and, of course, the soup competition.
“After two successful years at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium, we’re excited to embrace a new chapter for WinterFest by relocating to the heart of Downtown Lowell,” said Peter Crewe, Director of the Office of Cultural Affairs and Special Events. “WinterFest will be centered in the Enterprise Bank parking lot, creating a hub of winter activities that will radiate out to Palmer and Middle Streets. This location will allow festival-goers to experience the best of WinterFest while immersed in the charm of Downtown Lowell.”
Mark your calendars and stay tuned for WinterFest 2024 announcements in the coming weeks on the official event website, lowellwinterfest.com, or by following on Facebook: @LowellWinterFest

Downtown… it should be at Cawley Stadium
The point is to bring people into Lowell. There are no restaurants out near Cawley Stadium (unless you count Applebee’s in Tewksbury), no stores, and no safe walking areas to go from bar to bar. Besides, that neighborhood was very clear that it didn’t want people from Lowell walking around when it voted against building a High School campus.
El Guapo it was a joke.
Yay! Haven’t been in a couple years. I hope it’s like it used to be. Looking forward to it.
