Lowell – UNITAS of Lowell is thrilled to announce the upcoming second annual Parrandon Navideño – Noche de Gala, scheduled for Saturday, December 2nd at 7:00pm. This festive celebration will take place at the Hellenic American Academy Center, located at 41 Broadway St, Lowell, MA. This year’s sponsors include Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union, Middlesex Community College, Greater Merrimack Valley Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMVCVB), Lowell Sun Charities and many more!

Featuring the dynamic rhythms of the renowned live band, El Grupo Chevere, attendees can anticipate an evening filled with lively Latin beats, including Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, and Cumbias. Michelle Rivera, UNITAS Director, enthusiastically expresses, “Get ready for an explosive night of dancing, raffles, and fun!”

A highlight of this year’s Parrandon Navideño – Noche de Gala event is the recognition of six outstanding community champions who have made a lasting impact on Lowell’s Hispanic-Latino community. The festivities will showcase rich Latino cuisine, a live folk band, and an opportunity for all to partake in the joy of dancing, engaging in raffles, and contributing to a vibrant cultural experience.

Beyond the revelry, the event serves as a fundraising initiative to support Latino students embracing the arts and skills trades. All proceeds will be directed towards scholarships, furthering the organization’s commitment to advancing education and opportunities within the community.
