Hong points to constituent services as the top priority for his office, which included a full-time staff member who works together with him to help meet the needs of residents across the district.

Also in 2025 the Rourke Bridge Replacement Project finally broke ground.

“I’d like to recognize the tireless work it took to get the project to this point and thank our partners in the Federal delegation including Senators Elizabeth Warren and Ed Markey, and Representative Lori Trahan, the City of Lowell, and current and former members of the Lowell state legislative delegation” said Hong.

Hong was also successful in securing funding in the state budget to support youth programming and community-based organizations serving the district, including the Cambodian Mutual Assistance Association (CMAA), Coalition for a Better Acre (CBA) and the Latinx Community Center for Empowerment (LCCE). These funds will directly support programs that provide education, mentorship, and essential resources to young people in the community.

“Thank you to everyone who reached out last year to share concerns, who asked for help, and advocated for issues that matter to you,” Hong said. “Your voices guide my work every day.”
