LOWELL – Kenneth E. “Junior” Dixon, Jr., age 76, a longtime resident of Lowell died Wednesday, March 15, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.  He was the beloved husband of Rosemary A. (Crowley) Dixon, with whom he would have celebrated 53 years of marriage on April 17th.

He was born in Lowell on November 14, 1946, and was the son of the late Kenneth E. Dixon, Sr. and Doris (Thibeault) Dixon.  He received his education in Lowell schools and was a graduate of Greater Lowell Technical High School.

Prior to his retirement, Kenneth was employed for 23 years as a corrections officer at MCI Concord.  Following his retirement, he was employed for many years by Madison Security.

He was an avid fan of World Wrestling Entertainment and all of the New England sports teams. Earlier in life he was an avid bowler.

In addition to his wife, Kenneth is survived by his sons, Shawn M. Dixon and Christopher L. Dixon, both of Lowell; and several cousins.
