The Chelmsford Police Department is investigating multiple reports of car break-ins that occurred overnight on October 15th in neighborhoods near Grantville Road, close to the Westford town line. The Westford Police Department also reported similar incidents in their jurisdiction.
In all Chelmsford cases, the vehicles involved were left unlocked. We urge all residents to lock their vehicles at night and keep valuables either secured or out of sight.
