These dates reflect the current schedule, with additional dates expected to be added in the coming months.
This new program is part of the City’s ongoing commitment to providing responsive and accessible services for all residents. It is designed to support Lowell’s multilingual community by offering language assistance for a range of City processes.
“Lowell is a city of many voices and experiences, and we want to make sure every resident feels supported when they come to City Hall,” said City Manager Thomas A. Golden, Jr. “Whether someone is applying for a permit or requesting a certificate, we’re here to help, and these added hours are one more way we’re delivering on that promise.”
During the designated Language Access Hours, translators will be on site to provide one-on-one assistance.
“This program is about making sure people feel comfortable and respected when seeking City services no matter what language they speak,” said Chief DEI Officer Ineabelle Dominguez. “We want residents to feel welcome and confident when engaging with City Hall.”
City Hall Language Access Hours are available to all residents on a walk-in basis. For more information, please call Ineabelle Dominguez at (978) 674-1007 or email idominguez@lowellma.gov
