The City of Lowell invites the community to attend its annual Memorial Day Observance on Friday, May 22, at 10:00AM at Veterans Memorial Park.

Held on behalf of the Office of the Mayor and the Lowell City Council, and Office of the City Manager, the observance will bring together veterans, public officials, students, and community members to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

The program, organized by Veterans Services, will feature remarks from representatives of the Lowell Veterans Commission, Lowell Veterans Center, and the Executive Office of Veterans Services.

The ceremony will also include participation from the Lowell Police Honor Guard, Lowell High School JROTC, Reilly Elementary School, and Sullivan Middle School.

All are welcome to join in remembering and honoring the service and sacrifice of our nation’s fallen heroes.
