Election 2023 Coverage: More Debates Announced

The InsideLowell team continues to gear up for Election 2023, with two more debates added to the docket, and one needing to be re-scheduled.

Due to last-minute conflicts for both candidates, the District 2 (Centralville) debate between incumbent Corey Robinson and challenger Marty Hogan, originally set to take place this Friday October 6th, is being rescheduled. As soon as a new date is confirmed, we’ll announce it through our various formats.

Meanwhile, the candidates in District 6 (Lower Highlands) and District 7 (the Acre) will sit down with Teddy Panos in the IL podcast studio for their discussions.

On Monday, October 16th, it’s Mayor Sokhary Chau and challenger Justin Ford tackling the issues shaping the District 6 race. Two nights later, on Wednesday October 18th, incumbent Paul Ratha Yem and challenger Fru Nkimbeng sit down in front of the cameras and microphones to focus on their race in District 7.

While those dates play out, we’ll continue to work on getting the candidates facing off in District 4 (Downtown), District 5 (South Lowell) and District 8 (Upper Highlands) to share their vision for the city they seek to help govern. And we are also working in conjunction with our friends at the Greater Lowell Chamber of Commerce and Lowell TeleMedia Center on a date to get the six At-Large Council candidates together.

As always, stay with InsideLowell for the latest developments and the most comprehensive Election 2023 coverage from our knowledgeable and experienced team of political “Insiders.” Then, on Election Day (November 7th), tune in to our YouTube Channel for live results, interviews and analysis beginning at 7pm.
