Lowell — The 2025 season of the Lowell Farmers’ Market is officially underway! Community Teamwork and the City of Lowell welcomed the season last Friday, July 14th, with a lively ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by a crowd-pleasing live cooking demonstration by Food Shines — complete with hand-rolled momos and delicious samples of garlic naan and their signature chicken tikka masala sauce.
Special guests at the celebration included Mayor Daniel Rourke, State Representative Vanna Howard, and Community Teamwork CEO Carl Howell, all of whom jumped in to assist with the momo-making — to the delight of attendees.
Families who receive WIC benefits are encouraged to stop by to pick up their coupons and shop for fresh, local produce — supporting both their health and our local growers!

“The Lowell Farmers’ Market is more than a place to shop—it’s a celebration of our community’s creativity, culture, and entrepreneurial spirit,” said Connie Martin, Division Director , Energy and Community Resources for Community Teamwork’s Entrepreneurship Center. “We’re excited to see so many familiar faces and to welcome new vendors and visitors this season.”

The Lowell Farmers’ Market runs Fridays through October in downtown Lowell — stay tuned for weekly events, food demos, family activities and music weekly.
Also, Dutton Street Market – a collaboration with Mosaic Lowell and the City of Lowell is open with Three Sisters Patch Bar, Sweet Pig Press and Dear Boba popping up at the market space.
