With the Massachusetts Primary now just days away, the candidates in our local races are making one last push to win over the voters and get them to the polls. And their supporters are doing the same, offering up some last minute endorsements to help make it happen.
Middlesex North Register of Deeds candidate, Joe Ready, this week received a nod from State Senator Barry Finegold, who represents the Second Essex & Middlesex County.
“As a Massachusetts State Senator and an attorney by profession who has specialized in real estate conveyancing, I understand the critical expertise, vision, and management experience required for this vital role,” Finegold wrote in a statement released by the Ready campaign. “I have no doubt that Joe is uniquely qualified to build upon the exceptional work of Richard Howe, Jr., and to further enhance the Northern Middlesex Registry of Deeds for the benefit of our community.”
Ready is also touting support from a number of local organizations and individuals on social media and his campaign website.
Meanwhile, the other candidates in the race, Karen Cassella and Sokhary Chau, continue to highlight their key backers.
Cassella has received endorsements from a number of local unions, and here in Lowell is receiving consistent backing through social media from City Councilor Erik Gitschier and others.
Chau has racked up support from the top four officeholders in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, along with pumping out his own list of union, organizational and individual endorsements through his own social media and website.
And a quick reminder; join us for live Primary Election Night broadcast Tuesday night, beginning at 7pm. You can stream the broadcast on our InsideLowell podcast player or on our YouTube Channel.
