Lowell —The City of Lowell Veterans Services will honor veterans and their families at a Memorial Day observance at JFK Plaza, City Hall, 375 Merrimack Street Friday, May 26, 2023 at 9am. This event is open to the public and all are welcome to attend.
The Lowell Cub Scouts and Boys Scouts will participate in a flag raising, the National Anthem and the Pledge of Allegiance. Lowell High School JROTC will present colors and participate in the ceremonies. Breakfast will be served outdoors on the plaza (weather permitting). U.S. Air Force Major Jacquelynn Coles has been invited to address the veterans and families as a special guest speaker.
