With three highly competitive State Representative races lined up for the September 1, 2026 state primary, InsideLowell continues to be “Ground Zero” for local election coverage.

We are excited to announce that all seven of Lowell’s Democratic Party candidates on the September 1 primary ballot have agreed to participate in debates set to air as part of the Daily Pulse Podcast during the first week of August.

The 16th Middlesex District debate, between Lorena Betts and Corey Robinson, will air Tuesday, August 4. In the 17th Middlesex District, Harini Aiyer, John Drinkwater and Anthony Leite will be featured Wednesday, August 5. Lastly, the 18th Middlesex candidates, Sokhary Chau and Tara Hong can be seen discussing the issues on Thursday, August 6.

All three forums will drop at Noon on www.insidelowell.com and on our YouTube Channel on their respective days, as well as on audio wherever you get your podcasts.

When the talking and voting are complete, InsideLowell will once again be your go to source for election night results, with live coverage of the September 1st primary and November 3rd general election featuring the most experience local election team in town. Coverage on both of those evenings begins at 7pm.
