Whether it’s the Red Raiders kicking off the 2025 fall season, baseball teams bringing home titles or young athletes training hard for football, soccer, cheerleading and lacrosse, the city is buzzing with energy and hometown pride. With fundraisers, clinics and registration opportunities across multiple sports, there’s never been a better time to cheer on Lowell’s next generation of athletes and celebrate their hard work on and off the field.

LHS has released the full Fall 2025 Sports Schedule! From football to field hockey, volleyball, cross country and more — check out when and where to cheer on the Red Raiders this season!
LHS athletes (grades 10-12) who are in need of a clearance can attend FREE Fall Sports Physicals on August 15th at 12:00pm at Cawley Stadium. You must be registered in advance and bring a signed consent form.

Lowell High School Boys Soccer
Support Lowell High Boys Soccer! The team is hosting a Car Wash Fundraiser on August 16th from 8:00am–12:00pm at 785 Rogers Street (across from McDonald’s). Come by for a sparkling clean car — just $10 per wash — and help these hardworking student-athletes gear up for their season. Rain or shine, they’ll be there! Venmo and PayPal are accepted.

Lowell 12U are Baystate Division Champions! From Cooperstown to the Bay States, this team has had an unforgettable summer!

Lowell Pop Warner Football & Cheerleading
Practices officially kicked off on Monday! Want to support the league? Check out their Facebook page and website — and be on the lookout for flocks of flamingos popping up around Mill City! We had a blast getting “flocked” at our house!

Lowell Junior High Football
The Lowell Jr. High Football (LJHF) season is right around the corner, and now is the perfect time to sign up for this long-standing and completely free tackle football program for students in grades 5 through 8.
The first practice kicks off on August 11th at 6:00pm at Cawley Stadium, marking the beginning of an exciting season of skill-building, teamwork, and competition. Practices are held on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, with games scheduled on either Saturdays or Sundays.
