Back on September 8th, we posted about the overwhelming number of City Council motions and motion responses that eventually led to a Special Meeting eventually being called to clear out the backlog. What a difference three weeks makes.
No, your eyes do not deceive you. This week’s agenda features only two, TWO, City Council motions. On top of that, there are only six Motion Responses to previous agenda items, setting up what could be one of the quickest meetings of this particular group of Councilors.
Now, the agenda does include an Ordinance From the City Manager, regarding the controversial and much discussed ADU ordinance. However, this is simply the “First Reading” of the amended ordinance, so unless Councilors once again get bogged down in this particular discussion, the main event featuring the final vote on ADU’s will take place October 17th.
Needless to say, that one is likely to be a much more lengthy (and feisty?) evening.
One response to “Motion Sickness Cured?”
It’s like a pre-destrict rep agenda when the only nuts and bolts brought up were double poles and why Belvidere driveways weren’t plowed by the DPW on time.
