The City of Lowell Parking Department has begun rolling out the new on-street parking system.

The upgraded system utilizes zones, pay-by-plate kiosks and the Passport App, not numbered spaces as in the past. It is similar to the process used in many other Massachusetts communities.

Once kiosks are installed, they will be activated, and Parking Enforcement will assist customers with usage during the rollout.
