LOWELL – James W. Berry, Jr., age 82, a resident of Lowell and former resident of Tyngsboro died Monday, May 8th, 2023 at Regal Care of Lowell.  He was the beloved husband of Sandra Marie (Gotham) Berry.

He was born in Lowell on July 13, 1940, and was a son of the late James W. Berry, Sr. and Evelyn (Clucas) Berry.  He received his education in Lowell schools.

James proudly served his country in the United States Navy.

Prior to his retirement, he was employed for many years by Scully Single in Wilmington.  Prior to that he was employed for many years by Prelco Corporation in Lowell.

In his free time, James enjoyed traveling.

He is survived by his son, James W. Berry, III of Lowell; his daughter, Michelle Ercolani and her husband Timothy of Lowell; ten grandchildren, Dimitri Berry, Anthony Ercolani, David Dean, Jr., Wayne Dean, Jr., Crystel Dean, John Travis Dean, Daniel Fontaine, Eugene Van Dinter, Jr., Robert Van Dinter and Ashley Van Dinter; a sister, Gail Gluck; many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two daughters, Sandra M. Van Dinter and Tammy A. Goyette and a brother and sister, Albert Berry and Diane Berry.   

It being his wish there will be no services.
