Lowell – Pridestar Trinity EMS, a leading provider of emergency medical services in Massachusetts and headquartered in Lowell, MA, has officially signed an agreement to acquire Patriot Ambulance, Inc., a well-respected EMS provider founded in 1977 by Maurice “Moe” Ryan and Dave Walton.
The acquisition marks another important step in Pridestar Trinity’s ongoing strategic growth initiative, with a continued focus on strengthening and expanding its presence servicing Middlesex County along the 495 corridor and upper Merrimack Valley.
Both locally owned companies bring decades of experience delivering 911 emergency response and nonemergency medical transportation to municipalities, hospitals and communities with professionalism and compassion throughout the region.
As part of the acquisition, Pridestar Trinity EMS will also take ownership of two properties – one located on Sawin St. in Marlborough, MA and the other on Blanchard St. in Lawrence, MA.
Patriot is the primary 911 provider for the Towns of Marlborough and Hudson, MA with corporate offices in Chelmsford, where billing and dispatch were located. They also play a key role in providing non-emergency transportation services to Lawrence General Hospital’s multiple campuses, maintaining a strong presence in the upper Merrimack Valley region.
The relationship compliments Pridestar Trinity’s presence and reflects Patriot’s long-standing commitment to patient care and operational excellence – values that align perfectly with Pridestar Trinity’s mission.
“In today’s ever-evolving EMS landscape, it’s more important than ever to adapt, innovate, and operate efficiently,” said David T. Daly, President and CEO of Pridestar Trinity EMS. “By joining forces with Patriot Ambulance, we’re leveraging the strengths of two organizations deeply rooted in community care and dedicated to exceptional service. Together, we will be even better positioned to meet the needs of our municipal partners, hospitals, and—most importantly—the patients we serve.”
The acquisition brings together two companies that share a commitment to clinical excellence, innovation, and community service.
Patriot Ambulance has built a trusted name in EMS for nearly 50 years, and its legacy will continue under the Pridestar Trinity banner.
“This move reflects our vision for long-term, sustainable growth,” Daly added. “Economies of scale will allow us to invest more in our people, our infrastructure, and the communities we serve. We’re incredibly excited for what’s ahead.”
Dave Walton, CEO and co-founder of Patriot Ambulance, emphasized the strong alignment between the two companies.
“We’ve built Patriot Ambulance on a foundation of integrity, compassion, and commitment to our patients and employees,” Walton said. “It was incredibly important to us that any partnership or transition be with an organization that shares those core values—and Pridestar Trinity does exactly that. We know our team is joining a company that respects its people and puts service at the heart of everything it does. That gives us great confidence in this next chapter.”
Leadership teams from both organizations are working closely to ensure a smooth integration and seamless transition with no disruption to services as well as a clear focus on supporting employees, partners, and patients.
