Brings His Haunted Holiday Performance Home for Fifth Year

(Lowell, MA, – October 13, 2022) One week before America celebrates its favorite holiday with turkey and football, Metalheads will flock to the Tsongas Center in Lowell for a much different celebration dubbed “Thanx-Killing.” Thursday, November 17, The Trinity of Terror tour summons three of modern hard rock’s biggest names- Ice Nine Kills, Black Veil Brides, and Motionless in White along with special guests, Atreyu to one stage.

Thanx-Killing will mark the first home state performance by front man Spencer Charnas and Ice Nine Kills since their highly successful Silver Scream Con brought horror films and INK fans (aka “Psychos”) to Danvers this past August.  General admission and VIP tickets for Trinity of Terror in Lowell can be purchased now at https://linktr.ee/thanxkilling.

2022 has been a busy year for INK, touring the country with Metal icons Metallica and Slipknot earlier this year. However, the origin story for Ice Nine Kills begins in the early 2000’s, when founder Spencer Charnas and his high school bandmates were playing VFW Halls and high school auditoriums in and around Boston’s North Shore communities.

Thanx-Killing was conceived by Charnas several years ago with the intention of combining his love for metal with the spookiest time of the year. Now back for its 5th incarnation after a pandemic hiatus, the holiday celebration has grown from its original roots at the intimate Middle East in Cambridge, to the Worcester Palladium, and now Lowell’s Tsongas Center.

“We are humbled to see Thanx-Killing grow from a 200 capacity club show back in 2013 to being held this year in a major arena,” said Charnas. “It was this same New England fanbase that gave us the support in the early days to help make this band what it is today.”

Co-headliners Motionless in White and Black Veil Brides will kick off the night in high-energy gothic fashion, with hometown favorites Ice Nine Kills closing the show.

INK’s performance on this tour has been praised as being “as carefully orchestrated as a Broadway performance.  It’s the perfect experience for the metalhead with a passion for the horror game.”
