As the Lowell City Council prepares to hold a public hearing, debate and then likely vote on an Accessory Dwelling Unit ordinance, we thought it would be a good opportunity to look back at a spirited and informative debate we held in the InsideLowell studios between a strong ADU supporter, Councilor John Drinkwater, and opponent Jerry Frechette, a Planning Board member.
